4-Day Nile Cruise to Aswan with Temples & Tombs

Day 1: Arrival in Luxor and Embarkation
Morning Arrival: Upon arrival in Luxor, you’ll be greeted by a Kemet Experience representative and transferred to your Nile cruise ship. Check in, settle into your cabin, and prepare for the journey ahead.
Explore Luxor’s East Bank: Visit Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex in Egypt, and Luxor Temple, connected by the ancient Avenue of Sphinxes. Marvel at massive statues, towering columns, and intricate reliefs.

Dinner Onboard: Return to your cruise ship for a delightful dinner as you sail southward.
Overnight Onboard: Rest comfortably in your cabin as the ship glides along the Nile.

Day 2: Explore the West Bank and Sail to Edfu
Morning Exploration: Cross to Luxor’s West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Your guide will bring the ancient necropolis of Thebes to life with history and stories.
Lunch Onboard: Return to the ship for lunch as you begin sailing to Edfu. Enjoy the scenic Nile landscapes along the way.
Evening Leisure: Spend your evening relaxing onboard, enjoying the facilities and stunning sunset views.

Overnight Onboard: Anchor near Edfu and prepare for the next day’s discoveries.

Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
Morning Visit: Disembark to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god Horus.
Lunch Onboard: Continue sailing toward Kom Ombo while enjoying lunch onboard.
Afternoon Visit: Explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Visit the Crocodile Museum to see mummified crocodiles and learn about ancient rituals.

Dinner Onboard: Sail toward Aswan and enjoy dinner onboard.
Overnight Onboard: Spend your last night cruising under the stars as you approach Aswan.

Day 4: Discover Aswan’s Treasures
Morning Visit: Explore Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, relocated to Agilkia Island after the building of the High Dam.
Aswan High Dam: Visit this modern engineering marvel that reshaped Egypt’s landscape and created Lake Nasser.
Lunch Onboard: Return to your ship for a final lunch as your cruise concludes.
Disembarkation: After lunch, disembark in Aswan. You’ll be transferred to your hotel, Aswan Airport, or train station, marking the end of your Nile Cruise adventure.
