5-Day Nile Cruise from Cairo to Luxor & Aswan

Day 1: Departure from Cairo to Luxor
Option 1: Sleeper Train – Begin your journey with an evening departure from Cairo on a sleeper train to Luxor. Relax in your private cabin and enjoy dinner on board.
Option 2: Flight – Alternatively, take a morning flight from Cairo to Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your Nile cruise ship.
Arrival in Luxor: Check in to your luxurious cabin, then begin your exploration with a visit to Karnak Temple, one of the world’s largest religious complexes. In the evening, visit Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night. Return to your cruise ship for dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank Exploration and Sailing to Edfu
After breakfast, explore Luxor’s West Bank with visits to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch as you sail towards Edfu. Relax on deck during the scenic journey. In the evening, enjoy dinner and traditional entertainment onboard. Overnight on the Nile cruise in Edfu.

Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
Disembark in the morning to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. Sail onward to Kom Ombo while enjoying lunch onboard. In the afternoon, visit the Kom Ombo Temple, a rare double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, and explore the Crocodile Museum. Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on the Nile cruise in Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk & Philae Temple
Start with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, followed by the Unfinished Obelisk to see ancient stone-carving techniques. Continue to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Return to the cruise for lunch and leisure time. Optional excursion: visit a Nubian village (additional fee). In the evening, enjoy dinner and entertainment onboard. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5: Disembarkation and Return to Cairo
Option 1: Sleeper Train – After breakfast, disembark and transfer to the Aswan train station for your sleeper train journey back to Cairo.
Option 2: Flight – Alternatively, transfer to Aswan Airport for your return flight to Cairo.
