Dendera Temple complex, covers some 40,000 square meters. Hathor was a major goddess in the ancient Egyptian pantheon, who personified feminine love, joy, and motherhood. Like many deities in ancient Egypt history, she had her own cult center named Dendera temple. Dendera temple is one of the largest and most impressive monuments in all Egypt and it’s visually stunning with its grand entrance, detailed carvings, hieroglyphs, and decorated ceilings. The complex had a long history with Egyptian, Greek, and Roman rulers, many of them added their own mark on it, learn more from your tour guide.
Abydos Temple, the ancient Egyptian believed of God (Lord of the underworld) to be buried there. The temple was built by King Seti I, and completed by King Ramsess II, known as the temple of Seti I. It is located in Abydos city about 420 km to the south of Cairo in Sohag Government, and it is 135 km from Luxor. Tour Overview

You will visit and explore two of the most complete temples in Egypt. Abydos temple and Hathor temple at Dendara may be the best preserved in Egypt with full color still visible on its walls.

What to Expect

Kemet Experiences representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to discover the ancient sites.
First, you will start by visiting Abydos temple, the ancient Egyptian belief of God (Lord of the underworld) to be buried there.
