Historical Highlights
St. Catherine monastery, located 220 km northwest Sharm el Sheikh and located between the St. Catherine’s mounts and Moses Mount which is the oldest monastery of Christianity. It is an Orthodox Greek monastery within its beautiful walls rests a citadel like no other, among its treasures is the Museum of St. Catherine where there are icons attributed to the painter Angelos, one of the most famous artists of the 15th century, or to his peers, as well as all six icons by Michael Damaskenos which are considered among the most important works of the Cretan School of the 16th century, learn more from your tour guide.

What to Expect
Day 1: Drive from Cairo to St. Catherine Monastery.
Kemet Experience representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo then drive to St. Catherine for about 6 hours. After your arrival Check- in to your hotel to relax and overnight in your hotel.

Day 2: St. Catherine Tour – Drive Back to Cairo.
At 02:00 am in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Moses Mountain and you will be accompanied by Bedouin Guide as an expert to Guide you to climb the sacred mountain.
After you climb the mountain and return at about 07 O’clock you will be guided to visit St. Catherine Monastery, which is considered one of the most famous monasteries in the world. The monastery was dedicated to one of Alexander’s rulers, St Catherine, after that, you will have your breakfast at the hotel & drive back to Cairo.
